Adelboden

Is internationally renowned for its fabulous walking during the summer months, Adelboden is less well known than the Jungfrau region, but is extremely appealing to families, seeking tranquility surrounded by glorious scenery, situated only 30 minutes from Lake Thun.

This beautiful little village at 4,438 feet offers a variety of activities including a good selection of walks for all standards.

Arosa

This well equipped picturesque village has a good selection of shops, delightful cafés and restaurants. Arosa nestles high up on a sunny terrace in the Schanfigger Valley at 5,758 feet. With superb scenery and challenging walks, this splendid high altitude resort is well known for its hospitality.

An extensive array of entertainment can be found here including hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing,or just enjoy the stunning scenery and crisp alpine air of one of the highest resorts in the country.

Ascona

Ascona is one of the main tourists resorts in Ticino, this beautiful old fishing village is posed majestically on the glittering shores of Lake Maggiore. Its meandering alleyways, interesting little shops, art galleries and craft artisans are well worth a visit.

Why not sit and relax at one of many cafés or restaurants on the lake shores whilst watching the world go buy.

Basle

The country’s second biggest city is surrounded by fertile farmland and meadows. Basle has prospered from its location astride the Rhine at the point where the navigable stretch of the river begins.

The old city is now a relaxed pedestrian zone with busy shopping streets, medieval houses and theatres. A trip to the Tinguely Museum exhibiting some of the world’s oldest art collection is a must.

Berne

Berne is the capital city of Switzerland, famous for the Bundeshaus (Federal Building), the Zytglogge (Clock Tower), the mediaeval fountain and the bear pitt are highly recommended sights to visit.

Switzerland’s most beautiful shopping centre offers miles of arcaded arbors abutting quaint Baroque sandstone houses, part of the UNESCO World Heritage, these arcades are home of the most exquisite boutiques and restaurants. A truly singular city.

Bonigen

This tranquil lakeside resorts offer a quieter alternative to Interlaken with all the amenities close by. Why not take a trip on one of the lake steamers to explore the area.

This area offers magnificent hiking and mountain biking, with some beautiful wooded and lakeside walks along well trodden paths.

Brunnen

Brunnen is a popular well established lakeside town situated at the point where lakes Lucerne and Uri converge with Mount Seelisberg rising behind, the town is situated at 1,442 feet with excellent road, rail and steamer connections, a fabulous lakeside promenade with plenty of good watersports facilities.

Brunnen offers a wide selection of hiking trails, you can walk the 22 mile pathway around the lake offering a beautiful scenic walk viewing Lake Uri's rocky shores.
